Rapsel’s New Double Tub Featured in Wallpaper*

Rapsel surpasses its success with Matteo Thun’s OFURO ~ designed last year for the brand ~ by introducing a new double soaking tub, also made in sustaible larch wood and profiled in WALLPAPER this month, corresponding to the Cersaie Fair taking place September 28th in Bologna, Italy.

Tito Lavabo Freestanding

The Tito, designed by Marco Merendi is a freestanding washstand that imperiously provokes association with the rare monolith. The finishing options are white or grey.
Optional: an integrated rgb light.

The Tito was featured at Cersaie 2009.

Introducing CHEF.

The CHEF collection designed by Marco Merendi, is a young and fresh product series for Rapsel which debuted at Cersaie in 2009. The new basin is extremely inventive. Merendi was able to take the traditionally organic approach that Raspel uses and transformed this vision of the brand into something truly prolific. The sculptured sink marries form and function in a unique modern way.

Within this eclectic group of products, the kitchen sink is becomes the focus of attention. Made of aluminum in different colors and sizes, these basins will engage the young at heart. The aluminum basin freely stands on an oak wood table or a pedestal. The mirror, container, soap holder and toothbrush glass holder complete the innovative new series.

Rapsel has one of the largest booths at next week’s Cersaie show in Bologna, Italy, and the show promises to be a good one, starting with the beautiful poster. Cersaie commissioned Mario Botta to design the image:

Architecture brings together gravity, form and matter to accommodate human beings and life.
Ceramic originates from Mother Earth. With this image I wanted to recall where we come from, what we are made of, where we live.
And also where we are going: the future is already here.
