DESIGNER MATTEO THUN WINS BIG AT GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM WITH ‘ONE’ COLLECTION

NEW YORK – December 7, 2009 – RAPSEL, the innovative luxury sanitary company based in Milan, is pleased to announce that an expert group of designers and editors from the globe’s most esteemed design magazine Interior Design, voted for Rapsel ‘One’ Collection on Thursday, December 3rd, as their favorite Best in Bath product at the 5th annual award ceremony held at the Guggenheim Museum.

Rapsel has been recognized in the international design world as the first to master the invisible bath environment concept with the debut in North America of ‘One’ or Il Bagno Che Non C’e designed by famed architect Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez in larch wood. Rapsel products are distributed in North America exclusively through AF New York. Detailed custom-inventory information is available via company Principal Bennett Friedman at http://www.afnewyork.com or http://www.rapsel.it.

Rapsel was also honored for Best in Bath for the ‘One’ Collection at the ICFF in May 2009. See event details at Rapsel’s news blog located at http://rapselspa.wordpress.com. Matteo Thun’s Lavasca and Pluviae designs are currently featured in the Disney film “Old Dogs” in white, and that same tub in black matte is included in the permanent art and design collection at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Rapsel also won the Best in Year bath design from Interior Design in 2007 for Melting Chic by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba.
